Got a call from a robotic voice, this lady claiming to be from ‘the bank’. She told me my card was charged twice - once on Amazon for 300 pounds and another time... Didn’t stick around to hear more and just ended the call. This is the third time I’ve had this sort of call, always from what seems like a regular London number, but it’s all a fake. The phone numbers change a bit but each time its started with 020 and an 8 after that. Total scam.

I got an automated call from a woman’s voice claiming to be from ‘the bank,’ saying my card had been charged twice earlier today. She mentioned a £300 spend at Amazon, and then started on a second transaction… Before she finished, I just ended the call because I’ve already had two very similar calls from numbers that seem like local London ones. I’m pretty sure the woman was about to say the second payment was for £1000 or something crazy. I answered at first because it looked like a local number, but it’s definitely a scam. Don’t fall for it!
