On Wednesday 28th October, I got a call from 020 8677 5838 but they just hung up right when my answerphone kicked in. Seems a bit sketchy to me.

Picked up the phone, nothing but silence, then this weird squealing noise and they hung up. This is the third time in two days. Fingers crossed it’s some idiot telemarketer having technical issues or something!

I was still trying to sleep since I do night shifts, and this call came through before 8am and woke me up, then they just dropped the call.

Got a call about lowering my boiler insurance, asked straight away who was calling and who my current provider was plus what I was paying, but they refused to say. Tried to get me to hand over £180 straight away for cover supposedly lasting a year. The way he spoke made it clear it was dodgy, so I decided to mess with him a bit. Kept throwing him questions that he obviously couldn't answer properly. Ended up hanging up when he realised I wasn’t about to give them my cash to line their pockets.

Got two calls from this number today. First one was at 8 in the morning, a guy with an Asian accent who couldn’t talk properly. Then later in the evening, I got a silent call, no one said a thing. Weird.

I've had two phone calls today-one at 8 in the morning from a chap of Asian descent who struggled to articulate his words, and another at 1 in the afternoon which was just dead air. Quite bizarre, isn't it?

I got a call from a lady with an Asian accent saying they were handling stuff so my landline wouldn’t get scam calls from India and abroad anymore. She said her company was called Data Unplanned. I thanked her nicely and asked for more details since she wanted me to sign up or something, but then she just cut me off. 50% sure this was a dodgy scam trying to get my info.
