I picked up and said hello but there was silence before the person just hung up. I tried calling back and when they answered, they just said hello and then ended the call straight away.

Received a call from a so-called "phone health company" claiming that I’d won some sort of promotion courtesy of my phone provider. When I probed them on which network they were referring to, they rattled off a handful of popular names. I responded that I didn’t belong to any of those. They then inquired about my actual network, to which I retorted, "You're the one making the call-surely you should know which network you're representing!" At that point, they abruptly terminated the call.

It seems the caller was blissfully unaware that the voicemail was activated. During the message, they were yapping away about how they’d successfully duped someone. Quite the revealing conversation, if you ask me!

I received a call from someone claiming to be with Carphone Warehouse, inquiring about my current phone and mentioning some sort of offer. Quite peculiar, really, considering that this phone number is linked to a halal butcher!
