They told the manager they "had the whole day to keep phoning," and even jammed the phone line. The caller was quite threatening and made rude remarks about the elderly care industry. Then he asked for the manager - that’s me by the way - and once I said so, he started lecturing me on how I should be running the place. He said if he was paying £800 a week, he’d expect performers every single day, clearly has no clue about the real expenses involved in running a care home.
