Received an uninvited phone call the other day. The bloke claimed to be from “Phone House” or something along those lines. He said he could slash my mobile bill with a contract for an iPhone costing £35 per month, while I’m currently shelling out just £6 a month. The call had that unmistakable vibe of a bustling call centre, and I noticed a bit of a lag, which made me suspect it was overseas. I even tossed a few Hindi curse words his way, but he just ignored me. When I inquired about the location of his call centre, he cheekily told me to “Jog on” before promptly hanging up.
