Lately, I’ve been getting a couple of calls from 02086544430 and also 02086544182. Both seemed totally random and out of the blue.

apparently this is a free green line from bt numbers, usually linked to some company. but i've searched online and can't find any info about this number anywhere. does anyone have a clue who this might be?

This number is legit, don't just dismiss the message! I got a text saying my credit card was being used online and they needed to confirm if it was me because they thought it might be fraud. Instead of phoning back the number in the message, I called the one on the back of my card to be safe. Turns out, the alert was real and someone was indeed using my card without permission.

I got a call from this number, and the person was really impolite. I asked to speak to a manager but never got connected. Seems like they’re ignoring the TPS rules and data protection laws - best to avoid them!
