someone rang me claiming to be from talktalk, saying there was a problem with my internet and they could fix it. when i told them they weren’t really from talktalk and called them scammers, they just hung up straight away.

Someone claimed to be from BT and told me to switch my computer on because apparently I was getting hacked. I told them there's no way they're BT, and then she snapped back with something like "Why you laughin like some old lady?" Total scam, watch out!

Got a robotic voice warning me to ring the BT operator right away by hitting 1 or I'd be busted for fraud! Obviously, I didn’t press anything and, surprise surprise, no one came to arrest me.
