I attempted to ring back but the number didn’t show up anywhere, so no idea who it was.

Our system blocked a call from this number at 2:48pm today. I don't have any info on who it was or what they wanted, so can't really say much about it.

Beware of these washing machine service contracts - total scam! They try to trick you into paying for stuff you don’t really need. Don’t fall for it!

I got a call earlier, answered it but no one talked, then suddenly a robotic message popped saying no one was free to chat and the call got ended.

I accidentally answered this call (my phone usually shows the caller's name or number). I said hello but there was complete silence, so I ended the call after a couple of seconds. Lately, I've been getting loads of odd calls from 020 numbers, so it looks like they're just wasting time and trying to annoy people, probably thinking someone's home during lockdown. It's pretty annoying for the person receiving the call, so I've blocked those numbers now.

I got a call from a bloke named Joe who said he was ringing about renewing my washing machine insurance, offering a cheaper price for the next year. I told him I’m actually replacing the machine (not true, but I don’t have any cover anyway!) and then he started pushing to switch the cover onto some other household gadget. Suddenly, the call just cut off on me.
