Phone number ☎️ 02086453784 👆 is reported as a persistent scam targeting individuals with false claims about expiring washing machine or white goods insurance. Callers, often using generic names and vague company references such as "Care Plan UK," pressure recipients to provide bank details for supposed renewals. The calls may begin with polite or personalised greetings but quickly reveal their fraudulent nature upon questioning. It is strongly advised not to share any personal or financial information, to verify insurance status through known contacts, and to remain cautious of unsolicited calls offering unexpected policy renewals.

4 yearsI received a call from this number, and despite my repeated attempts to engage by saying "Hello?" several times, they promptly terminated the call after about five responses. How rude!4 yearsClaimed that the warranty on our washing machine cover was up for renewal today. Total ruse!4 yearsHad another one of those dodgy home appliance calls today, my second time this week!4 yearsI picked up the phone and the call was cut off straight away!4 yearsDodgy callers this lot. Some bloke called "Ben" rings up about renewing some insurance for my appliances, but there's no mention of any company or so. I never bother with those insurance deals anyway, so no chance I'll renew anything. Once he saw I wasn’t interested, he just said "ok, we'll cancel it then" and hung up on me. Bit of a letdown but at least it ended quickly.4 yearsThey called me using my last name, but I never confirmed anything. Instead, I asked them to identify themselves. After that, there was just silence. Definitely seemed like something dodgy was going on.4 yearsA gentleman purporting to be from Care Plan UK reached out to me, claiming that my washing machine insurance was on the verge of lapsing. He insisted that by providing my bank details, he could facilitate a swift renewal, with documents winging their way to me shortly thereafter. According to him, my payments were handled via direct debit, but when I inquired about the company’s phone number, he flatly refused. My request for their head office address was met with the same stubbornness. When I suggested that I’d like to review the paperwork first before making any financial commitments, he dismissed this notion as unnecessary. The conversation grew increasingly tense as I pressed for more information, and eventually he terminated the call on me. I later verified my insurance status and discovered it had already been renewed back in February, and not through this dubious caller. This was a rather alarming attempt at fraud, particularly as he was adamant about needing my banking details - sadly for him, he had no luck with me.Care Plan UK4 yearsA chap rang me claiming to be from Care Plan UK, insisting that my insurance for both the fridge and washing machine was nearing its expiry date. The thing is, I’ve never taken out separate insurance for those appliances beyond my home insurance. It was quite obvious to me that it was a dodgy scheme.Care Plan UK4 yearsBeware of that washing machine insurance rip-off, total scam!Submit Your Own Report (020 8645 3784)
