Just got a call wanting £79.99. Lately, I’ve been getting loads like this, some say it’s £39.99, others £79.99, all pretending to be from Amazon Prime. They even say if you press 1, you’ll talk to a manager. Bit dodgy if you ask me. As we say up north, "No chance". Proper scam.

This number, 02086428837, has called me twice within 30 minutes today. I’ve received calls from them before too. They said they were cancelling my Amazon Prime subscription and mentioned it was costing me £79.99, which is way off. Amazon Prime is only £7.99 a month, and I don’t even have a subscription with them! Be cautious. The caller spoke very aggressively and had a strong accent, which was hard to follow for me.

Got a call claiming to be from Amazon Prime, saying I owed £79.99. I don’t actually have a Prime membership though, which raised my suspicions. Since I keep my card info saved on Amazon, I logged in just to be sure everything was alright. I didn’t press any buttons when they asked me to, but was so tempted to give them a cheeky reply with some colourful language and maybe a loud whistle for good measure!

I got a call from this number and there was a recorded message saying I’d be charged £7.99 in a month for some Amazon Prime thing. It said to press 1 if I wanted to talk to a manager to cancel. I just ended the call. I later looked in my Amazon account and there was no sign of any Prime trial or subscription. Guess it was just a bit of bad timing since I’m waiting on an Amazon delivery today anyway. Added the number to my blocked list so they won’t bother me again.
