This is clearly a scam involving cryptocurrency. They're fishing for your personal information. The moment they realise you're not buying into their nonsense, they become incredibly impolite.

I received a rather dubious phone call, where the caller alleged they were from the Fraud Squad - or some such nonsense. They were prattling on about a bitcoin transaction that was supposedly linked to me. Complete nonsense, if you ask me!

I don't really know for sure, but they claimed to be from the fraud squad and told me I was in serious trouble for sending bitcoin to some Chinese account. The thing is, I've never even touched bitcoin and have no links to China at all. Feels like they're trying to trick me into giving away my bank info. Definitely sounds like a scam to me.
