Someone said they were from NatWest and claimed there was strange activity on my bank account. They were really pushy about sorting it out immediately and didn’t want to wait until the next day when I suggested calling the bank myself. They kept trying to get me to authorise a dodgy payment to Currys. After I hung up to call NatWest directly, they kept ringing back a few times. Proper dodgy behaviour.

I got a call from 02084363374, some automated voice claiming to be BT and warning about my landline getting disconnected. If you get this, just hang up immediately - it’s definitely a scam.

I got a call from 0208 638 8344 earlier today. As soon as I answered, there were loads of people chatting and background noise like a busy workplace. My gut told me it was one of those dodgy calls, so I ended it straight away. Didn’t want to risk it turning into something annoying or worse. Went ahead and blocked the number.
