Got a call from someone pretending to be BT saying my internet would be cut off because of some dodgy activity. It’s a total scam. No legit internet company would ring you up like that about disconnecting your service - they’d send a letter or an email instead. This kind of call’s definitely against the rules and just a scam to watch out for.

So I rang them back, hid my number with 141, right? Weirdly, for the first time ever, they used an actual number. I told the woman I’d already reported them to the police for scamming and asked her for her address, thinking I might beat the cops there. She just told me to sod off. Lovely.
