It was obvious right from the start that this so-called internet provider was a scam, so I just ended the call. These days, most of the landline calls we receive turn out to be either Visa fraud attempts or internet router scams. It’s all just cover for fraud, and people are getting off with lighter penalties. When will these awful scammers finally be nabbed? They tried to pretend they were from the VISA team at my bank. They've got my name, address, and obviously my number too. They told me that in just fifteen minutes, £600 would be taken out of my account "internationally" and said it was a potential "fraud".
