Got a robo call from someone saying my taxes were dodged and I was going to be hauled to court. The voice said to ring a certain number. Tried ringing back on a house phone but it was always busy. Really, wouldn’t they send a proper letter before all this? Sounds like a scam to me.

Got a call from HMRC again, and the lady said her name was Linda White. The message got cut off halfway, but she was threatening court action or something about tax evasion. So annoying!

It's a total scam, so make sure to tell your mates and especially the elderly or anyone who might not spot this dodgy call. They might get frightened enough to return the call, which is exactly what the scammers want. Stay safe!

I found a bunch of different numbers linked to Linda White after doing a quick Google search, and turns out, they all point back here with quite a few comments just like this one. Seems like they just keep switching between numbers. Honestly, it's all nonsense. The accusation didn’t seem right at all, so I looked it up right away. No way I'm wasting time calling them.

Received this voicemail on a couple of my numbers now, and it was the exact same message both times. Seems unlikely HMRC would ever leave a recorded message if they wanted to reach me, right? Also, why on earth would they ask me to call back a different phone number? Doesn’t add up at all!
