Good evening! I’ve just received a message that’s identical to the one I got previously. It was on Monday, the 21st of January, 2019. I've decided to go ahead and block the number.

I received a call claiming to be from Her Majesty's Revenue and Customs. It turned out to be a recorded message. I quickly realised it was a scam and decided to cut the line, but I must say, I'm absolutely furious with these utterly clueless buffoons. Why can't someone, anyone, put a stop to these imbecilic miscreants once and for all? Honestly, where's a hero like Luther or the Equaliser when you need them? Jokes aside, this has gone well past the realm of comedy. The authorities ought to trace these calls back to their source, apprehend those responsible, and really consider throwing the book at them. Surely this kind of behaviour is against the law, isn't it?

Clearly, this appears to be a scam in my opinion, but it carries an air of intimidation that could easily cause someone in a vulnerable position to react without thinking! How on earth do these individuals manage to evade the consequences of their actions?

I've encountered the same situation as others have mentioned. It's clearly a scam.

Like others have mentioned, I received a pre-recorded message from a con artist warning me about impending legal troubles, insisting I must "get ready for the repercussions" if I don't return the call to HMRC, either myself or through my solicitor. Quite the nerve, isn't it?

I've just received a call quite similar to what everyone else has mentioned. They were quite insistent, claiming they'd pursue legal action if I didn’t return their call to this number.

I just received an utterly ridiculous voicemail from a clueless woman pretending to be an HMRC officer. She was making all sorts of threats about legal action if we didn’t return her call. Honestly, it was hardly believable!

It’s truly disheartening to witness such a breakdown in communication and trust within our nation, allowing a group of fraudsters to prey on the hard-earned money of everyday folks. One can't help but wonder why the various telecom providers and the government turn a blind eye to these deceitful telephone operations. Just the other day, I received a rather unsettling automated call from a woman claiming to be “an officer of Her Majesty’s Revenue,” introducing herself as someone named Jenifer. Her accent was unmistakably posh, and she spoke in such a slow, patronising manner that it felt rather intimidating. She insisted that I, or my solicitor, ought to contact the provided number immediately, or else we would face dire repercussions. Quite frankly, it's enough to make anyone uneasy!
