Some bloke called saying he was Mark Watson, claimed I owed £4950 and if I handed over £1800 right now I wouldn’t get arrested. Otherwise, I'd have to deal with it in court. I told him I’d ring the police and give them the arrest warrant number, but he just told me to go straight to the station and they’d nab me there, then just hung up on me!

Looks like a total scam to me. What really creeped me out was they somehow knew my exact address. When I tried asking them more questions, they just suddenly cut the call. Really should report these people, but I have no clue where to start.

So this guy named Deepak ringed me and left a voicemail apologising for missing my call, asking me to ring him back. Being daft, I actually did. Then out of nowhere he tells me I’m gonna be nicked in the next 45 minutes and asks if I’ve got a criminal solicitor to defend me. I reckon he planned to push some pricey legal service on me, but when I called his bluff, he just hung up. Total con, but weirdly I still find myself glancing over my shoulder, half expecting the police to show up and arrest me lol.

Like a few others here, I got a call from an Indian man claiming to be from the tax office, saying there was a warrant out for my arrest due to tax evasion and they’d be coming for me within 45 minutes. He even knew my name! When I played along and told him I’d defend myself in court, he suddenly cut the call. He also mentioned an address where the hearing was supposedly going to take place the next day. Proper scam!
