+44 20 8638 3730 rang me earlier, but I didn’t pick up. They rang again and straight away there was music playing, which seemed really suspicious to me. Normally, when it’s a legit call, it rings properly first. I’m pretty sure this was some sort of scam. I’ve already had a dodgy experience a while back when a man pretending to be from my bank called. When I didn’t go along with what he was saying, he got nasty and started making horrible and inappropriate sexual remarks. Definitely dodgy stuff happening with these kinds of numbers!

I had a rather unsettling call from the number 02086385630, purporting to be from Royal Mail. They informed me that a parcel of mine was waiting for collection at a depot in South London and offered the option to pay over the phone for its release. When I expressed my suspicion that it might be a scam, the caller insisted that it was definitely not a scam, addressing me as 'sir' in a rather patronising tone. My instincts were ringing alarm bells, and just as I reiterated my doubts, they abruptly ended the call. Just a heads-up for everyone-stay vigilant!

Received a call from a woman with a foreign accent who pretended to be with Royal Mail, stating they had a parcel for me at their delivery centre in South London. She mentioned it was supposed to be from Amazon but curiously lacked a stamp. She was aware of my name and, of course, my phone number. However, she requested my email address to send over a receipt, which set off alarm bells for me. I decided there and then that I wasn't going to engage further, so I told her I didn’t trust her, and she promptly ended the call. If we had carried on, I’m quite certain she would have tried to extract my credit card information to cover the supposed postage.

Didn't answer this call cos the number looked unfamiliar. Had a quick look here and seems like it's linked to spam texts about parcels. Gonna block it now.

Beware of a phone call from someone posing as a Royal Mail representative! They'll attempt to extract your personal information under the guise of needing it to deliver a "parcel." Of course, they'll mention there’s a fee involved! Stay vigilant and don’t fall for their ruse!
