Got a call saying I had some PPI thing worth over £4k! Then they asked for £200 in Amazon vouchers first. I told them if they’re that sure, they should send the cheque over and then I’d sort the gift card. Pretty sure I’m not holding my breath for that cheque anytime soon!

Some bloke called John Gill said he was representing Fasttrack Claims. He told me I was owed £4,681 in PPI compensation from Lloyd's bank, and that a Mrs June Rogers might drop by this afternoon with the cheque. However, I supposedly needed to provide ID and pay £200 via an Amazon gift card to cover their fees.
Thing is, I've never put in a PPI claim nor had any connection with Lloyds at all!

Some bloke called John Smith rang me, he was a bit iffy about getting me to buy a £200 Amazon gift card. Weird thing is, I’m supposed to get a cheque for £4,681 sent to me from some Fast Track company. They told me to call them back once I’ve got the gift card with the name on it. Proper dodgy if you ask me.
