I ended up losing €3000 after following advice from a supposed Binance advisor, transferring money through blockchain to an address they said was mine. Even though I struggle with English, I reported the scam by calling actionfraud.police.uk at +44 300 123 20 40. Thankfully, the London police use translators to help. If everyone who’s been scammed contacts this number, there’ll be an investigation and hopefully the criminals and the money will be tracked down. I suggest you do the same and make a report - there’s a chance you can recover your money.

If everyone who’s been scammed reports it to this number, an investigation could start and hopefully the police will catch these crooks and recover the cash. Just like I did, make sure you report it - you might get your money back too.

Got a call from a guy claiming to be with Binance who knew exactly how much money I'd just transferred, saying it needed checking. I told him to reach out through the Binance app instead and then I ended the call straight away. Watch out for this kind of thing!

Some muppet with a thick Eastern European accent called claiming to be from Binance, telling me to click a dodgy link in an email to claim some rewards. Problem is, I don’t even have a Binance account! I told him I’d check the rewards myself and didn’t need his help or to click any sketchy links. Of course, he hung up straight away. Honestly, I reckon the NSA or Interpol should catch him quick, maybe lock him up for decades or something so he learns a lesson and stops messing with innocent people!

This number just rang me up, claiming to be from Binance's London branch or something, talking about some smart contract scam. The bloke said if I clicked a link in some dodgy email, I’d get around €700. Honestly, his English was pretty rough and didn’t seem native at all. Total scam, watch out!
