I received a rather bothersome call from this number earlier today, and just yesterday, I had to block a call from a blatantly similar one. The connection was rather poor, and it appeared the chap was ringing from India, as there was a cacophony of call centre chatter in the background. When I dared to query him about his claims, he became rather irate. He kept going on about how my identity had been compromised and that some nefarious individual was trying to steal my funds. He insisted he could assist me in recovering what was mine. I tried to reason with him, saying that it simply wasn't feasible, but he wasn't ready to concede until I hung up on him. I really do hope others manage to avoid such distressing encounters.
