Received a rather dodgy call earlier today purporting to be about an upgrade to my appliance insurance. The caller requested to verify which bank I use for my direct debit, and bizarrely, went ahead to recite the first four digits of my debit card, gleaned from the bank I mentioned. Then, she proceeded to ask for my sort code and account number. Quite alarming, if you ask me! I refused to divulge any of my personal details and she promptly ended the call. It’s imperative that these culprits are tracked down and faced with proper consequences to prevent further deception!

Received a call earlier today claiming I was missing out on the best insurance deals for my appliances. When I enquired about which specific appliances she was referring to, she was rather vague and stated it was "all of them." I took the opportunity to inform her that my number is registered with the Telephone Preference Service and that she was essentially infringing on the law. I then suggested, in a rather cheeky manner, that she might consider taking a holiday and engaging in some enjoyable activities instead of making unsolicited calls!

I received a call from someone claiming my appliance insurance was due for renewal, and they requested my banking information. They acted as if they already had my details but needed to confirm them. When I mentioned that I had no policy with their company, the caller insisted I must have accidentally signed up for duplicate coverage - which, I assure you, I certainly haven't. Before I could explain further, they vanished as quickly as they appeared.

I received a call from this number, and the chap on the other end claimed that my washing machine, fridge, and freezer were all up for insurance renewal. When I pointed out that I actually have coverage for none of those appliances, he got quite irate and accused me of being the one spinning tales. Then, without further ado, he hung up. A trustworthy enterprise? Absolutely not in my estimation... LORY
