I answered my phone yesterday and after a few seconds, this automated message came on sayin’ “sorry, the person you’re trying to reach isn’t available right now.” Been gettin’ loads of annoying calls lately, way more than usual in just the last couple days. Most of ‘em are those typical scams warning about “illegal activity on your internet account, call us back or your service gets cut off.” It’s pretty frustrating!

Got a call the other day saying they wanted to renew my insurance for a washing machine, which I don’t even own. A few days earlier, the same number rang about my fridge. Pretty obvious these are dodgy calls trying to scam people.

some woman rang up saying it was about a warranty for my washing machine. told her ive got no warranty and then just said goodbye and hung up.

Got a call from 02086 341592, some bloke said the warranty on our washing machine was nearly up. He insisted it was a Bosch washer, which is rubbish because we've never owned a Bosch. When I questioned where the warranty details came from, he just said it was from the warranty company. I told him to post me the paperwork so I can check for myself - still waiting to see if anything arrives.
