Got a call from this number today but I didn’t pick up since it was unfamiliar. After reading the comments, I’m pretty pleased I let it go to voicemail.

Finally a call with a proper English accent, which was a nice change. They asked me for my name and then just ended the call without saying anything else. Quite odd!

Today I got a ring from this number asking if I was a Mr something, which just so happens to be my wife's old name. The only firm that still has that name linked to our place seems to be BT. It's mad how BT are passing our phone digits onto other companies, then expecting us to cough up cash just to block these annoying calls.

Got a call on 12/03/2019 from a bloke who sounded quite young. He asked straight for me, Mr..., and said he was an 'energy efficiency surveyor' for my local area, talking about a new grant or some kind of scheme. He then started quizzin' me about when my loft had been insulated, who did it, and all that. Sounded like one of those sales calls where they try to get you to let a rep in for a 'free survey', only to push you into getting loft insulation or some other product. Pretty obvious what the game was.

This company rang me again, asking for a Mrs Dawson. I've lived here for 19 years and there's never been anyone by that name at this address. Just a pointless sales call, really annoying.

I've had calls just like others saying my 'company records show fibreglass loft insulation'. Not long ago I got a call, from a nearby number, about 'government grants for solar panels'. Being on the TPS doesn't seem to stop them at all. I just block these numbers as 'scam' now, and my blocked list keeps growing and growing!

This evening I got a call from some company trying to tell me that the fibreglass insulation in my loft was no good. When I told the woman I didn't want to give any details, she warned me I'd be getting loads more calls if I didn’t cooperate!

Thing is, my flat’s part of a block with no loft at all. I told them they might have mixed up their info as it wasn’t right. The caller said they’d take me off their list and wished me a good day.
