Received a call from a robotic female voice saying there was some spending on my bank card, but don’t fall for it. It’s a scam trying to steal your details, so best thing is just to hang up and ignore any prompts they give you.

I keep getting these annoying calls all the time. Just disregard them!

I received a call from a woman whose English was rather lacking, which made our conversation quite challenging. She claimed to be representing Virgin Media, but I have my doubts about her legitimacy.

They rang me pretending to offer a discount or claiming they’re upgrading services nearby, but it quickly turned dodgy. Next thing, they were asking for my email and wanted me to change my password to one they picked. Total scam! I mucked about with them for a good while to waste their time before telling them to find a real job instead of conning folks. Proper dodgy stuff!

Got a voicemail but no actual message, just sounds like some Indian voices chatting in the background.

There was a lady who spoke very little English, so it was quite tricky to figure out what she was asking for.

Someone phoned saying they were from O2 and mentioned the Virgin merger, which is actually correct. However, they kept pushing me to use a temporary code to access their online account. I told them I already have my own login details and didn’t need any new codes, but they insisted on this new method with the temporary code. It felt a bit fishy, so I said I’d ring them back later, but they really didn’t want me to end the call.
