It just didn’t feel right. Someone called claiming to be from the “Refund team” at a “Kitchen Appliance firm,” saying I’d overpaid £147 on my new white goods and needed to verify my bank details to sort out a refund. Even though I recently bought some appliances, I wasn’t buying it for a second. As soon as I said I wouldn’t give any info, they hung up on me. Watch out for this one, it’s pretty dodgy and feels really off!
