10 yearsSo, on Friday the 25th of November, just about 6 in the evening, I got a call from some bloke with a foreign accent. He started asking questions about a car crash I'd supposedly been involved in. I had to tell him I don’t even own a car, never mind been in an accident. Then he wondered if I might know someone who had, maybe he’d mixed up my number. What puzzled me was that he already knew my last name right at the start, which felt a bit odd. I joked with him, asking if he was going through a list from motorbikes to bikes, rollerblades or even checking if my shoelaces had tripped me! Before I could get an answer, he just cut the line.
