Got a call from someone called Hazel claiming to be from Eureka Health. She knew my name right off the bat, then jumped straight into questions about whether I’d had the Covid vaccine and if I’d experienced any side effects. After that, she switched to asking about my overall health. At first, I honestly thought it was a genuine survey about the coronavirus. But after a bit I clocked it was a scam. Told her I had to go and she said she’d ring me again. No way I’m picking up again when she calls back! Watch out, it’s definitely a scam.

When I attempted to return the call, I was informed that the number was not recognized. It seems apparent that whatever they wanted to inform me about wasn't actually of great importance.

It is evident that the woman who was rude on the phone lacks any call centre experience. She repeatedly interrupted while trying to explain about getting free stuff for "bones", and even asked if I was 18, though I am not. Despite me saying I wasn't interested and that nothing is truly free, she insisted on continuing the conversation and was quite forceful about it. If it were possible to lodge a higher-level complaint, I would do so because her behaviour was extremely rude and suspicious.
