So, this lady rang me saying she's from BT, wanting to chat about how I use my phone. She mentioned she could slash my bill by a quarter. When I questioned if she was for real, she just ended the call on me.

Some bloke said he was John Walker from BT offering a 35% cut on my bills - sounded well dodgy to me. Had a strong asian accent, seemed like a total con. He asked to check my payment info - but if he was really BT, why would they need me to give it again? I played along and kept him talking for over 10 minutes until he gave up and hung up. Absolute scam alert - watch out for this one!!
