A few days back, I got a call from a man with an Indian accent claiming there was an issue with my Windows system. I told him it was one of those computer scams, then he just ended the call straight away.

Got a call from a bloke from India claimin I owned the Windows operating system. I told him I’m on a Mac, so there’s no way. Called him out as a scammer and a crook, then he just ended the call.

A lady with an Indian accent rang me up claiming my computer was hit by some sort of serious malware, worse than a virus. She asked if it was my computer and if I'd got it switched on. Then she wanted to know what was showing on the screen. I said it was Peter Maffay singing Eiszeit. Did that convince her? Not a bit, she just hung up on me.
