My neighbour got a call yesterday, on the 29th of August, from a guy speaking with an Indian accent. He was talking about a car accident she supposedly had around half a year ago.

This guy called me, sounded like he had an Indian accent and said his name was Michael, but I didn't catch his surname. He claimed he was calling from Basildon council about some car crash I'd been in. I told him I've never had an accident. Then I asked if he knew my name, and he said Mrs Shasha. I told him he’d got the wrong number and hung up. Later, I rang the number back and spoke to a London taxi company. The bloke there said sorry, he knew someone was using their number for scams and that the trading standards were onto it. This happened on 29/8/2016.

Got a call today (Sunday) from a guy speaking with a thick Indian accent. At first, I couldn’t make out what he was saying, but then I gathered he was from Essex County Council and that he’d got my phone number through the NHS about some accident that happened yesterday night (Saturday), which wasn’t my fault. I asked him to explain what accident he was referring to, he said he’d check my file, and then suddenly just ended the call.
