Got a call like this again, these people switch numbers all the time. I've blocked this one and every new one that rings. Always check caller ID and if the number looks unfamiliar, just don’t pick up. They use robo calls to see if you’re there, and if you answer but nobody says anything, expect a follow-up call from a person trying to scam you, sometimes from the same or a different number. Best thing is to stay clear of them completely. Total scammers!!

Fingers crossed these annoying b******s get what's coming to them. Never pick up when an 02 number pops up - it's most likely another scammer from India trying to con folks. It's really frustrating that BT just lets this go on, and the government seems fine with them scamming loads of vulnerable people out of millions. BT couldn’t care less about people here, just squeezing cash out of us, and I reckon the government might be in on it with some kind of donations from these companies. I got a call from a guy named Jonathan who had a foreign accent. He said he was ringing from the Telephone Verification Centre. He started asking if I lived at a certain place, but before he could finish, I cut in and asked which company he was calling from, thinking it might be BT or something legit. Then he just said “Thanks for your time, Ma’am” and hung up straight away. Definitely a dodgy call, looks like a scam to me.
