A bloke who doesn’t get riled up easily just tells you to munch on a cow and bugger off. It’s quite the laugh, I must say!

He was speaking so fast and weirdly, I barely caught anything, but somehow he mentioned something about my computer. Then he claimed I was using it at that very moment - which was totally not true! I just hung up straight away.

I got two calls from them earlier today.

Got another call from these idiots, going on about all the rubbish problems my computer supposedly has. When I called them out on their nonsense they got all nasty. Funny to see them lose it when you don’t fall for their tricks :) Total scam, don’t waste a second talking to them!

Beware of this scammer attempting to infect your device with malware or ransom software. Politely decline their advances or suggest you pass the phone to the tech-savvy member of your household. They’re likely to cut the call abruptly!

The voice sounded quite American and was saying something about my computer, which seemed really dodgy to me.

Watch out! This is a scam where they try to lock your computer and then ask for cash. Microsoft doesn’t call you out of the blue - if you get a call saying they’re from Microsoft, it’s usually someone from the US trying to trick you, and they only ring if you’ve contacted them first.

I've had a call from the very same number, but this time it was a woman on the line. When I requested her name again, she seemed rather put out! Clearly, this isn't a legitimate number since it’s far too brief, and you can’t return the call. I’m curious about how it shows up on our caller ID. Cheers, Sue

Got a call from Alan Green who started asking about my computer. When I told him I knew it was a scam, he suddenly switched to more personal questions which felt really weird.

Some bloke called pretending to be from 'Windows' about my PC... I told him I wasn’t buying it, mentioned my number's on the TPS, and he just dropped the line straight away. Totally a scam, no doubt about it.

A bloke from India claims to be a Windows technician,
But honestly, just tell him to shove off. He'll claim your computer's knackered and insist he needs remote access to sort it out...
He reckons my machine is leaking information that alerts him, but the joke's on him - I don't even own a computer! Haha, what a scammer!

It's occurred multiple times at our workplace, and I suspect he's either from India or Pakistan. Our phones show the incoming number, so we recognise it's a scam call right away. We usually just tell him to bugger off. Unfortunately, he persists in calling back.

My poor mum, who’s just gone through the heart-wrenching loss of my dad, keeps getting these pesky phone calls before 8 in the morning. The caller has the audacity to refer to her as "chick!" and pretends to chat about her so-called computer. The shocking thing is, she doesn’t even own one! It’s infuriating beyond words!

Received a call before 8 in the morning, and upon picking up, the line goes completely silent. Quite odd, isn't it?

I received a call from someone claiming to be from Windows, presumably an Indian or Pakistani. He was trying to convince me to grant him remote access to my computer under the guise of fixing supposed issues. However, the moment I started questioning him about the information he provided, he abruptly hung up. Interestingly, I could hear a whole bunch of others in the background, clearly involved in similar scams with different individuals. It's quite concerning!

I keep receiving calls from this number incessantly, sometimes up to twenty times in a single day! It’s becoming quite a nuisance.

No idea, honestly, i just ended up blocking the number.

I've been inundated with these calls lately, and honestly, they’re becoming quite the bother and rather irritating. I've made it clear to them to cease their ringing, yet I still receive numerous calls throughout the week, at all sorts of times. Who are these callers, anyway?

Had a rather unwelcome call at ten to eight this morning. The chap on the other end had quite the Indian accent, insisting he was representing Microsoft. Apparently, my computer was in a bit of a pickle, giving off some sort of warning signs. I couldn't help but query why he thought it was acceptable to ring me at such an unearthly hour! Of course, he didn’t bother to respond to that. He just went on with his spiel. I firmly told him I wasn’t buying into this nonsense and that I’d prefer if he never called again.
