I saw the 0208 number pop up and since it’s the London area code near me, I assumed it might be someone I know calling. Luckily, I’ve got SkyGuard installed so I didn’t get bothered. Cheers for the earlier message, it’s good to know it was probably a scam attempt.

I got a voicemail from a woman with a British accent claiming to be from BT, warning me about some weird activity on my internet account. She said my phone and internet would get cut off unless I pressed "1" to talk to someone. I've had two of these calls today so far. I highly doubt BT would handle things like this, so it sounds like a scam to me.
