Received a rather peculiar phone call today from this number. There was a bloke on the line, sporting an Indian accent, who introduced himself as Jack, purporting to be from TalkTalk. He went on about an alleged issue with my router and mentioned that they’d dispatch a new one. However, when I probed him for my name, he seemed a bit flustered and promptly ended the call once he caught on to where I was heading with my questions. - Caller type: Scam artist.

I've received numerous calls from this number, all purporting to be from TalkTalk. They constantly request that I power up my computer so they can "resolve" issues with my router. Naturally, I decline and inquire how they obtained my phone number, at which point they promptly hang up. It’s unmistakably a scam. This morning alone, I was bombarded with three separate calls from them - incredibly frustrating! - caller: unknown

I’ve received calls from this number on four separate occasions now, always within the window of 11 in the morning to 2 in the afternoon. Each time, there’s silence on the other end before they end the call. It’s quite evident this is some sort of scam, don’t you think?
