Somebody keeps ringing me early in the morning, around 9, pretending to be from Amazon. It’s really annoying. They say I’m going to be charged £35 for a ‘premium delivery’ from Amazon unless I press a button on their phone number prompt to cancel it. Feels dodgy to me - I reckon they’re just trying to get hold of my personal info. I checked the number by dialling 1471 and it came up as 0208 525 3968. They called me twice so far, once last week and again today. Not sure if I should tell ‘Action Fraud’ about it or just ignore ’em.

never share details on a call that you didn’t ring first, even if it sounds genuine. scammers nowadays can spoof caller ids to make it look like your bank or credit card company is calling. if you suspect it might be legit, say you’ll call them back. legit companies won’t pressure you to stay on the phone, but scammers often try to talk you into sticking around.

Received a call at half seven last night and yet another at half eight this morning. I informed 'Alex' that it was rather too early for my liking, to which he decided to mutter "f*** you, f*** you, f*** you..." in a rather childish manner on repeat. The moment I mentioned that the calls were being recorded, he promptly hung up. Just a couple of minutes later, he rang again to suggest some rather crude and unacceptable actions. It’s best to steer clear of these individuals altogether.

I received a call from this number bright and early at 8 am on the Bank Holiday Monday, 2nd January 2017, and again the very next day. Each time I picked up, there was absolute silence on the line-quite perplexing!

I've been bombarded by this number, ringing me five times within just two hours! In the end, I picked up, and they claimed to be my internet provider. When I pressed them for more details, they suddenly identified themselves as BT. I let them know in no uncertain terms that they are definitely NOT my provider, and I warned them that if they dared to call again, I'd have no choice but to lodge a complaint with the police for harassment.
