Received a rather peculiar call today. The caller seemed to know my partner's name and our address, which was a bit unnerving. They inquired whether my partner would remain reachable at this number and address for the next three months for some sort of telephone verification service. They then attempted to extract my full name, but I politely declined to provide it. When I mentioned that I was unfamiliar with this telephone verification concept, they claimed it was for household trading purposes before abruptly ending the conversation. Quite the strange encounter, if you ask me!

I got another call today, the third time in a week, from a bloke with an Asian accent who called himself Sam. He claimed he worked for some phone verification firm and mentioned there was an issue with my phone line. When I asked why he needed to know my age, he just hung up straight away.

Then he went on to ask who I was, so I asked him the same. Out of nowhere, he blurts "who are you my sexy love"!!! Proper creep, that one. Total gross behaviour.

This morning I told the bloke to buzz off, honestly I’m so fed up with these annoying calls from people who clearly have nothing better to do. The voice sounded Asian or something. For the past five years this number keeps ringing me up looking for a Mr Steve Harris. I've tried being nice, I've been annoyed, asked them to remove my number, even blocked them but nothing helps. The person on the line always sounds like they’ve got an Asian accent. Yesterday I finally snapped and gave them a piece of my mind, told them exactly what I thought of their calls. They just hung up, so I guess they’re used to getting told off like that.

Got two calls from this number earlier today, but as soon as I picked up, they just hung up. So annoying! I'm guessing it's just another dodgy scam. It's crazy to think that Voyager has been out in space for more than 41 years, still beaming info back to us, but we can’t seem to stop these scam calls messing up our phones. They went straight into the usual spiel - asking if I was so-and-so, lived at the address they had, and even guessing at my age, like 50, 60, or 70. I asked him why he needed that info but he just kept repeating the same question over and over. I pressed him again, “Why exactly do you want to know?” and after a bit of back and forth, he just hung up on me.
