I got a call from someone saying they were from HMRC, saying there was some problem with my taxes. They threatened to send a warrant for my arrest if I ended the call. Felt really dodgy to me.

Received a call from 0208 587 0365 around 4:40 pm but the moment I picked up, the line just dropped. Feels like they were trying their luck hoping a woman would get to the phone. This is actually the second time I've got a call like this today.

Over the past couple of days, I’ve gotten 410 calls from this number! It’s been nonstop and honestly quite annoying.

they kept ringing me up, claiming there was some issue with my Windows PC - problem is, I use a Mac. as soon as i started asking them questions, they just dropped the call. now I’m just hanging around, hoping they ring back so I can let them know exactly what I reckon about those muppets! total scoundrels!

Never share any of your personal info with anyone!! Some scammy bloke rang me, rambling on about a laptop that isn’t even mine! I just kept him chatting for ages, then finally told him to bugger off. He ended up shouting a load of abuse back at me. If you get these calls, hang about and mess with them - they despise it and it’s pretty funny for you.

Got a call earlier today from someone saying they’d been trying to update my computer and asked when I last did it. I told them my PC is fine and ended the call. Then, 15 minutes later, they rang me again, so obviously they didn’t quite catch what I said the first time.

The guy on the phone claimed my computer had a virus or something, but his accent was so thick I couldn't make out half of what he said! Pretty obvious it was one of those tech support scams.
