Got a call from a bloke speaking with an Indian accent, and there was this loud background noise like a busy phone call centre. He claimed to be from BT Internet, asking if I was using the internet or a computer. I told him computer and said I needed a moment to switch mine on to keep him hanging. I’m actually with Virgin, no BT account here. I even chatted about the weather to keep him going but he just cut me off. This happened around 1:33pm on 12 June 2026.
