Got another quiet one today, sounded like he had his dad's willy stuck in his mouth or something, couldn’t say a word to me. Honestly, what’s the use? Should’ve just waited till his dad was done before calling.

I got a call from a man who sounded Asian and somehow he already had my full address and name. He said he was calling from Nationwide Building Society and needed to check my age before passing on some message. When I asked him what his name was, he just cut the call straight away.

I got these annoying Asian callers who just won’t stop ringing, but they definitely don’t like it when you throw some abuse their way. What’s worked for me is using a thick Scottish accent and dropping some harsh lines like, “I’m gonna mess up your mum next,” just to scare them off. It’s funny how they suddenly stop after that! Lol.

I got a call on the 17th of Jan from someone speaking with a South Asian accent. They asked if I was 'XXXX XXXX', and I answered yes. Then they mentioned a postcode that was totally wrong, so I told them they must’ve got the wrong person. The caller sounded really desperate, asking for just a minute of my time. After I told them again they had the wrong number, they just hung up on me.

I received a call from 02085089279 on the 18th of January 2019 at around 9.59am. As soon as I answered with a simple "hello," there was dead silence on the other end. I muttered a few expletives before hanging up. Later, I looked up the number using the info from 1471 and found loads of people saying it’s a scam. I went ahead and reported it to OFCOM, but honestly, I doubt it’ll make any difference. It's so frustrating that nothing ever seems to be done about these muppets!

I've been receiving incessant calls from this number. They keep asking for an individual by a name that’s completely unfamiliar to me. Considering my flat was built a decade ago and I've been the only resident ever since, it’s rather peculiar. Just yesterday, the chap on the line was quite rude when I informed him that no one by that name resides here.

They rang me pretty late in the evening which made me worry it was urgent. I’ve had calls like this before, where they seem like they’re fishing for private stuff, which I never share.

This bloke rings me daily and today I just lost it, asked to chat with the manager but he flat out refused. Then he claims their phone system is built to ring from loads of different numbers and that he’s made it so it calls me every day because I wasn’t cooperating! I’ve blocked the numbers but they keep coming from all sorts, so it’s pointless. Surely there’s something that can be done about this?

Got a call from a guy with an Asian accent asking for my husband by name. When I told him he wasn’t around and asked if he could leave a message, he then asked if I was Mrs L. I said no. He pressed on, asking if I lived at the address. I said no again. Then, outta nowhere, he assumed I was the cleaner and questioned why I was answering the phone. I told him mind your own business. He insisted it was his business. Proper rude and pushy bloke. Blocked him straight away.

These fools have loads of different numbers they ring from. Someone told me I should sign up to the Telephone Preference Service, but I’m already on it and they still keep calling. Honestly, it seems like the only solution is to change my phone number. Whenever I pick up, I try to be polite at first, but then end up shouting at them. Don’t know what else to do to get them to leave me alone. The company’s name is something like Media Hawk or Hawk Media, can’t quite recall.

Some guy with an Asian accent called, said his name was “John” but he actually knew my name already. When he started trying to get me to give out personal details, I kept asking him where he was from. I even told him I’d hang up if he kept it up. Then he snaps at me to “shut up and listen.” You can guess the kind of language I used back! Needless to say, I blocked the number straight away.

Got a random call from a bloke with a South Asian accent who said his name was 'Paul' and he was ringing from something called 'You Benefit'. He said he just needed to ask a few quick questions about my house and claimed it’d only take a minute. Classic rubbish from those spam call centres trying to grab your info. this was just like loads of other calls ive had, all scammers without a doubt. i’m planning to track down the phone number of the MP for my district and send it over to these idiots as soon as i manage. if more people who get these annoying calls did the same thing, i reckon the authorities would finally step in and maybe even make the phone companies pay up for all the trouble caused by these con artists.

I didn’t say a word, and neither did the person on the other end. Lately, I’ve been getting loads of cold calls from numbers starting with 0208 or 0203. Surely, someone important must realise how many new numbers are being registered by these scam or telemarketer firms? It’s quite frustrating!
