I picked up when the phone rang but the caller just ended the call right away.

Got a call from 020 8508 4219, some bloke called Neil claiming to be a customer agent. Seems like a total scam trying to sell me a discount on business rates. Best to avoid them!

This phone number is definitely a fraudulent one!

Outta nowhere I got a call, and honestly I figured it was some kinda scam after reading the reviews. But turns out they helped me reclaim £32,000 on my business rates! It took about two months to sort out, but definitely made it worth the wait.

I got a call about my internet router, saying there was something wrong with it.

Kept ringing me about some business grants, total pain! Just another dodgy scammer, so I’ve gone and blocked the number now.

I urge you not to pick up that call and absolutely refrain from sharing any card information! They might try to claim that you’ve entered into some sort of verbal agreement, but believe me, they’re just after your cash!

keep getting calls about business rates, and even if you block the number, they just ring from elsewhere. honestly, steer clear of these lot!

Had two calls from them just a couple of days apart. They kept asking about business rates and wanted to talk to whoever sorts that out. Tried to get the owner's phone number or any sort of contact details, but we don’t share that kind of info. Honestly, seems like a complete scam. Stay well clear of these lot!

For weeks now, they’ve been ringing my shop like four times every single day.

I strongly advise against sharing your debit or credit card information with them, as they are likely to siphon funds right out of your account without providing any service in return.

It's wise to look up the company online for any reviews or warnings.

My advice, having unfortunately found myself in a similar predicament, is this: if you've just forked out the initial £70 to initiate the process, do yourself a favour and cancel that card with your bank right away. You should also flag this issue with them. This will prevent them from effortlessly snatching the £770 that many seem to fall prey to as part of Stage 2. It definitely frustrates them, but trust me, nothing grinds my gears quite like these money-grabbing leeches.

It’s quite frustrating when sales reps claim your property is overvalued without even stepping foot on the premises. I've launched my own consultancy firm and offer a unique No Savings, No Fee scheme for my clients. Should you wish to discuss further, feel free to reach out to me at 07785 585046.

I highly doubt the claims that TD is taking legal action... sounds more like some sort of intimidation ploy from a nameless journalist!

I've reached out to my local council and it turns out that the Essex Trading Standards are currently looking into them with a view to taking legal action. I’d highly recommend you do the same. We're in this together! The more voices that come forward, the stronger our case becomes.

I've gone ahead and flagged them with my local trading standards authority, and it seems they're currently being looked into by Essex Trading Standards as well. I’d advise you to reach out to them too! I feel quite foolish as I’ve clearly been misled.

I’d recommend attempting to retrieve your money through your bank or credit card provider if possible. For those who’ve recently put down a deposit with these individuals, I would urge you to cancel your card and request a replacement from your bank. If not, you risk having your account debited by them without your consent or even awareness.

Absolutely, I'm in a similar predicament myself and could really use some guidance to reclaim my funds.

Hi there! It's been ages since we last chatted. I'm genuinely curious how things panned out for you in the end. I'm currently facing a similar dilemma and feeling a bit lost myself. Any insights would be much appreciated!

I can totally relate to your experience! The very same scenario unfolded for me. I contested a charge through Amex, and the Clements agency actually submitted documents bearing my supposed "electronic" signature, which is utterly fabricated as I never agreed to that. They've even taken it upon themselves to dish out glowing reviews on Trustpilot. The moment I shared my negative feedback, they promptly blocked it and retaliated with an unfavourable review on Google! I strongly urge everyone to pop over to Trustpilot and share your thoughts; they definitely warrant it!

Hello there! We’ve encountered a similar situation with the Clements agency ourselves. We haven’t signed any agreements, yet they’ve taken £700 from our account, which we believe was done without proper authority. Now they’re resorting to threats of legal action against us. Is anyone else facing this predicament or do you have any suggestions on how we might deal with this? We’re in urgent need of advice!

Has anyone considered reaching out to the Rip Off Britain programme to shine a light on these individuals and bring them to account? Countless small businesses have fallen prey to the tactics of Clements Agency Group. These fraudsters deserve a lengthy prison sentence for their actions. If anyone else has had a similar ordeal, please get in touch-I’m keen to gather evidence to present my case to the Queen. It’s high time we put a stop to their nefarious activities, especially seeing as they’re back again, pulling the same stunts as before.

CON ARTISTS ALERT!

Steer clear of these individuals; they’ll gladly pocket your cash without lifting a finger in return!

I’ve had quite the experience with Clements Agency Group. They seem to have a knack for zeroing in on budding entrepreneurs, claiming they can substantially reduce your business expenses, which does sound appealing at first glance. However, I urge you to think twice before getting involved! We never entered into any agreements or provided any consent for such actions, yet they proceeded to charge us without our permission! It’s incredibly frustrating.

You might want to contest the charges directly with your bank - essentially filing for a chargeback. If they turn down your request for a refund, much like they did to us, we escalated the matter with our bank and furnished them with evidence showing that we never gave our consent, nor did we sign off on anything at all.

Hello there, Anonymous. I've encountered similar issues with this firm myself, and I'm currently engaged in a tedious exchange of emails trying to get my funds returned. Have you had any luck in retrieving your money yet? I’d really appreciate any updates you might have. Cheers!

Clements Agency Group claims to help lower your business rates, but don't be fooled; they used to operate under the name Hammer Properties. It's best to steer clear of these fraudsters and not hand over any cash! If you have issues with your rates, I highly recommend reaching out to the Valuation Office for proper assistance.
