Got a voicemail about some home case scam, sounded dodgy to me. Not sure what they were on about but definitely felt like a scam. Watch out for these types of calls!

Got a call from someone claiming to be the police saying HMRC are taking legal action against me and even gave a crime ref number. Wouldn’t advise ringing back coz you might end up with fake charges or something. Seriously, why does BT even hand out these numbers when scammers just misuse them? Seems like a pointless and risky thing to do.

Got a call and as soon as I answered with hello, this weird automated voice just said goodbye and hung up right away. Strange!

I got a call from this number on my home phone, but as soon as I picked up, the line went dead and I heard a recorded voice saying goodbye.

Got a call from a bloke with an Indian accent saying he was from BT Openreach about some internet problems. He asked me to switch on my computer so he could fix it, but I wasn’t convinced. When I started questioning him, he became a bit pushy. Ended up just putting the phone down. Definitely a scam.
