I'm receiving relentless calls from this number, and they're consistently requesting funds. It's really quite annoying; something needs to be done about this!

I've been inundated with messages purporting to be from 'Scottish Power,' asking me for meter readings and then insisting on payments. Recently, I was sent a text stating that Richburns Ltd is now pursuing me for a supposed debt. Additionally, I've received numerous phone calls over a prolonged stretch, which often hang up as soon as I answer, and upon later investigation, I found the numbers to be dodgy. During one rare instance where I managed to engage with a caller, they couldn’t provide me with any personal information such as my name, address, or postcode, which led me to (rather bluntly) request they leave me be. To be clear, I have no associations with Scottish Power whatsoever, so it’s clearly some sort of scam.

Bloody richbums! I’ve never even had an account with British Gas, or as I like to call ’em, British Mess, but they keep on insisting I do. Honestly, it’s daft to pay a third party if you actually owe money yourself. Seems like loads of folks here in the UK just don’t get what basic words mean. I’ve had it up to here with all this pestering - might be time to find a new place to live just to escape it all.

I've come across Richburns and their team utilising Virtual 0208 numbers - a quick search will reveal more. Frankly, they're nothing short of a bothersome bunch, perpetually pestering individuals and generally causing quite the nuisance.

It appears that Richburns is employing some rather questionable tactics by relying on stale information or perhaps even an autodialler for the purpose of making unwanted calls. They seem to be well aware that the overwhelming number of contacts they reach out to have probably had affiliations with British Gas, the frequent offender in UK nuisance calls. Moreover, it looks as if Richburns is deliberately zeroing in on particular regions where their gas inspectors happen to be operating, seemingly in an effort to generate extra business through these bothersome calls.

Richburns definitely rely on old info or some kind of automated dialling system, ringing up people randomly because they figure lots might have been customers of npower, British Gas, or the like at some stage. It’s just them casting a wide net really. Whenever they ring, I make a point of going online to their site and sending a silly message back. Honestly, British Gas has to be one of the biggest headaches in the UK when it comes to unwanted calls.

It appears there's a firm named Richburn's utilising obsolete data or perhaps a power dialler, essentially casting a wide net. They're well aware that nearly any number they ring in the UK has likely been associated with utilities like British Gas or N Power at some stage in its history.

Received a call from an unfamiliar number earlier today at 1:40 PM but chose not to pick up. They didn’t leave a voicemail, but the area code suggests it could be from the eastern outskirts of London, possibly Essex? Just curious if anyone else has had a similar experience.

My daughter shifted into her new residence back in 2013, and then, last year in 2015, she began receiving incessant calls from this particular number about someone who has never set foot in her home. It seems they're a debt collection agency working for various energy firms. After a conversation with one of their representatives, they assured her the calls would cease, which they initially did. However, lo and behold, on the 18th of April 2016, she received yet another voicemail from the same number concerning that very same individual. She has absolutely no connection to this person whatsoever. Tomorrow, I plan to reach out to trading standards on her behalf to seek advice on what steps she can take.

I’ve had numerous calls from this number, and it seems to belong to a company named Richburns, which is supposedly a debt collection agency for energy suppliers. Since I’m debt-free, I decided to block the number, yet they continue to contact me. Quite irritating, really!
