Really annoying ringing from this number!

I got a call from a bloke claiming to be with 'coverplan', saying my washing machine insurance had run out but I could easily renew it. When I told him I’d take a look at my insurance details first, he just hung up. I’m ex-directory, so it was a bit creepy that he actually asked for me by name.

Had a call that got blocked by Truecall and they didn't leave any voicemail. Pretty sure it was just spam!

I've found the easiest way is to let the call go straight to voicemail - as soon as it switches over, I just hang up. Most calls from unknown numbers end up hanging up themselves anyway. If they do leave a message or start talking when it goes to answerphone, I can always decide to pick up then. Works better for me that way!

Beware of those so-called washing machine maintenance calls, it’s just a rip-off! They ring up saying your machine needs an urgent service renewal, but it’s a complete scam. Don’t fall for it!

Got a call from a lady about insuring my washing machine, sounded dodgy. Asked her what cover she was on about and told her straight up I don’t have any insurance with them or anyone else. Ended the call, then blocked the number on my home phone. Definitely feels like one of those appliance insurance scams.
