I've encountered significant issues with this firm as well. They did send me a refurbished iPhone, but it turned out to be faulty. After what they claimed was a repair (which clearly wasn't the case), they eventually agreed to provide a replacement, but lo and behold, that one also has problems. When I sought a refund, they informed me that I was outside the refund window. Oddly enough, I was never made aware of any such timeframe (to this day, I haven’t a clue when it actually ended!), even though I had consistently mentioned that I'd request a refund if they failed to send a functioning device. To make matters worse, they're not affiliated with any consumer ombudsman, leaving me with very few avenues for resolution, particularly since I can't find anyone to advocate on my behalf without cost. They still offer to swap out the new phone, but now they're insisting on extra charges for a new battery, which I adamantly refuse to pay, especially since I'm well within the 12-month warranty period! After such a dreadful experience, I simply can’t bring myself to trust them to deliver a functional device. If you're thinking about purchasing an iPhone from them - steer clear! It's been an endless cycle of hassle and anxiety. I honestly wish I'd just opted for a different brand-new smartphone of the same value and saved myself all the grief I've endured with Universal Gadgets.

I had quite the unfortunate experience with a seller on eBay. I was duped into purchasing a phone for £122.99, but it arrived in a completely non-functional state. Not impressed at all!

I’ve had a rather unfortunate experience with a so-called business named 'Universal Gadgets'. They claim to offer iPhones, various mobile devices, and accessories. I placed an order for two refurbished iPhones and forked out my cash, but to my dismay, I have received absolutely nothing. I've tried reaching out via emails and phone calls, but it's as if I've been ignored completely. I strongly recommend steering clear of this outfit!

Regrettably, unless you provide additional information regarding a) the call and b) the company, it's challenging for anyone to offer any guidance.
