About a fortnight ago, I received a call from this lot. The moment we picked up, there was a cacophony of sounds in the background, unmistakably from a call centre, yet they hung up not long after we inquired who was calling. I thought I'd return the call an hour later, and a young lady answered, but she immediately asked if we had any outstanding debts or unpaid bills (be cautious of these kinds of questions!). We replied that we didn’t and then inquired about when they intended to erase our details from their records. Instead of answering, the young lady simply ended the call. It's left me pondering whether this was some sort of scam. What do you reckon?
