I received a rather dodgy call purporting to be from O2, claiming they could slash my phone bill by 40%. They bombarded me with a slew of verification queries that sounded suspiciously like those I’d use for my passwords - which, of course, I declined to answer. Then they shifted gears and began probing for my credit card info, at which point I firmly decided enough was enough and ended the conversation. Quite the sketchy business, I'd say!
