That’s why I told him to ring me on my mobile instead, since my landline’s in the hallway. Honestly, be cautious with these types of calls. The strange thing is, they phoned me the day after I’d already spoke to Sky about that very problem.

Got a ring on my home phone from someone talking with a strong Indian accent saying they were from Sky’s tech support about my internet. Normally, I’d just ignore it, but since I’d just spoken to Sky the day before about slow broadband, I thought maybe it was legit. I asked them to ring me back on my mobile. When the number showed up, I immediately knew it wasn’t one of Sky’s numbers because I have all their contacts saved. So, I told the caller I’d double-check with Sky first, and unsurprisingly, that number didn’t match anything from them.
