i don't get why the government and ofcom can't just put a stop to these calls??? they keep bothering old and vulnerable folks trying to trick them out of their money. seems like the ministers only care about how much cash they can grab on the side to top up their already way too high pay and expenses claims. they definitely aren't thinking about the people they’re supposed to represent.

Got a call from 02084780496 about renewing some TV insurance, which I never even signed up for. They had my name and landline number and asked for bank details to process the renewal. The person on the phone spoke with a foreign accent. I told them my family handles all that stuff for me, and as soon as I said that, they just hung up. It’s really annoying that these scammers are still out there trying to con people, especially the elderly or vulnerable, and there seems to be nothing we can do to stop them preying on us.

Phone just buzzed with five quick rings and then dropped the call as soon as I picked up. Looks like spam calls are back to their usual annoying self. And honestly, no surprise there with the TPC not doing much to stop these pests.

Got a call on my mobile from an unknown number. It rang three times, which I reckon means it was from some sort of dialler centre. Just before I could pick up, the call ended. No voicemail, nothing left. I don’t have the number saved anywhere, so I’ve just gone ahead and blocked it and deleted it from my call log.

My mobile buzzed with an unknown number ringing three times - normally a sign of those dialler call centres. But then it just hung up. No voicemail was left behind. Since I had no idea who it was and the number isn’t saved in my contacts, I decided to block it and delete it from my recent calls.
