They promised it would be a complimentary service, but then they came back asking for £89. When we mentioned we were skint and couldn't cough up the cash for what they labelled as 'free', they bizarrely suggested we should approach friends and family for the funds. Quite honestly, it all has the whiff of a scam to me.10 yearsWe received a call from this number, and the folks on the other end claimed to be from Capital One. They insisted everything would be sorted to release funds for buyers interested in a vehicle (I have one listed for sale). We told them that, as of now, no one has shown interest in the car. Yet, they assured me there were three potential buyers keen to purchase. To our utter astonishment, not a single person came to see the vehicle, yet we found ourselves billed £89 less than twenty-four hours later. We are now initiating legal action to reclaim our funds.
